Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design,but we need set the rules soon as possible.
So this is the wallpaper that broke my one and a half year long artist-block. It took me only three days to make, which is a short time for one of my wallpapers, but I worked a lot on it nevertheless. This is more stylish and simple than the walls I usually make.
As Disgaea is a humorous game with few serious moments I tried to make a wall that would show the serious side of the game. Hence, I chose this dark theme (not that I usually make walls with bright or happy themes XD ) and I concentrated a lot on the lighting on the characters. I also wanted a logo that would catch the serious theme and so I chose to add the part about demons and love, since it was the center of the serious moments in the game. Lastly I tried to make sure so that the colors would match as it felt important in a wall where you use few and dark colors. I hope that you all like it.
Oh...and to avoid confusion I'd just like to note that I always sign my wallpapers with my real name.

Anyway, the layout in this piece is pretty good. Though I thinks it's a bit dark for my taste. But hey, that was most likely what you were aiming for. The text could have been plain white in my opinion. But it's nice too see you gave it some color to make it more interesting.
Incredible work. The rating should be higher. And I agree, choosing the dark theme really worked well for you. Love the shading you did, and overall blackness. Really gives it that evil feeling. I also love the text and the icon. Would have been nice to see this as the game cover. But aside from that, if you wanted to be just a little be more terrifying, you could smear a bit of blood on the sword. Perhaps some of his face, but that would really accomplish the "Lord of Terror" title. That might be going a bit much on the serious side, but it would be worth looking into if you want to go farther into the Dark Side. Muahahaha. Favorited.
Wowowowowow. This is my favorite wallpaper so far. I personally adore Disgaea and love the game and the anime is cute and the new game comes out this month, so I can't wait. This is super hot, though. I love everything about it! The colors, the style, the font, the words. Just brilliant.

Wow. I always thought of Laharl as a whiny little demon brat instead of a Demon Overlord, but not in this piece. The dark lighting and dramatic posing really make him look menacing and powerful. Great work.
