Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design, but we need set the rules soon as possible.

This is an abstract picture of the gaming hero Musashi. Most of the brushes I used in this wallpaper was from the design artist PaulW. The main layer is Musashi in blue form with other various items and it has a small shadow. The other 3 layers are in the color of yellow, red and grey. It also has a gradient on the back with 3 soft colors.
Nice concept, but I would prefer to have to the character vectorized without the arrows(it's confusing with all that stuff around..). The bg it's a bit too plain(the gradient don't convince me at all -__-). And I think it's better without the text.
I give a 'wow' 4 your ability to mixing de colors.back colors' calm and yea...good!!like the printed musashi too.but calm colors with Musashi=...??it isn't that suitable,i think.u add lines looks like blood, nice!still,it's too calm 4 musashi.good job,lah..^^

Nice brushing, but some of the pixel brushes look too.. hard/solid in contrast with the blended, semi-transparent brushing in the background. the shade of pink used in the bg isn't exactly the nicest, either. good try, however.
Love the abtract background! great brush work on that, and I also love the simple use of colors! PERFECT! and the blue scan is good with everything! I like it! favorites!

Thanks on all the comments sofar, it's actually my first try in this abstract way. Some of you loves it and some of you hates it but thats ok since nothing is bad publicity hehe. Well if I got time, maybe another one will show up sometime.
Good wallpaper, is something abstract but the general idea is great. Musashi was a fine character made by Tetsuya Nomura and the game on PSX was an action-rpg with lots of interesting things like the enemy ability copy, the pass of time in the game and a lot more.
Is a game who need some wallpapers more, there were good artworks of this game and, in Samurai Legend Musashi (the second part os Brave fencer Musashi) the designer was the same but the picture and artwork style changed a bit...but they still were great ^^.
So, continue doing thing like this...abstract or normal, they are fine
Well, you get major props for making a Musashi wallpaper. I've been looking for a few for a while now, and they seem to be rather rare.
That said, I'm just not a fan of abstract, I guess. I don't like how the shapes of the same color meld with the silhouette, and the apparently random background just doesn't do it for me. *Shrug* No accounting for taste, I suppose.
Oh wow! This wallpaper rocks! I love the colors used, and all the brushes as well! I'm just freaking out cause that's my favorite game ever, and your wallpaper does it justice! Awesome job!
