This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
This wallpaper. My 1st. Its evolved so much since my 1st draft. Ah... 2 long weeks, and 46 drafts ago... It was "A Rose of a Fading World", which then became "The Eternal Guiding Star", and then to what it is now. This took so long, and so many drafts... I have mroe drafts than layers on this wallpaper! Anyway, I struggled a lot with this. I think the wings gave me the most trouble, and trying to make them look like 2 wings, and not 1. I think I got that down. I also had a bunch of trouble with the planet. I don't know, but I think I fixed it. Onto the things I liked. I liked the wings. After working so hard on it, I still can't believe they were originally gonna start out pink. It didn't look nearly as good, and didn't blend nearly as well with my blue theme as blue wings did. I also loved the comets. Both the blue and white ones and the thinner light blue ones. I also liked how the effect I used on the planet of Tethe'alla gave it an atmosphere... kind of. Anyway, I present, "A Prayer to Tethe'Alla"
I'll be the first to comment since i played a minor part in advice XD......nice job and i liked the fact you didnt give up...and 2 bad your 10 pg thread didnt get to beat the record...i dont know if its a good thing or not

Congratulations on having it accepted! I don't remember if I posted in that 100 post thread of yours, lol but I did remember actually reading through it. It evolved so much; loved how you didn't give up even after your computer crashing (twice I believe it was >.< ). Kudos for a great wallpaper, and Good luck in future projects!
I really like the wall, despite being a colette hater XD. But yeah it looks pretty nice. There just aren't enough Tales of Symphonia walls. Damnit, somebody do a good Sheena wall! >:o lol
Ok.. it looks nice.. but the extraction is really bad.. and you shouldve fixed it first before submitting it here.. the character is really bright. and some of the details are inviciblee.. i like those swirly stuff that you put on the background.. but i think the background is too plain.. you shouldve put more effects and stuff.. like those glowing circles there.. and sparkless.. and stars.. o well... look nice though..

the background i think came out rather nicely in the end. the plnet with the outer glow rlly works in this.
from your first draft i remmber the bg was filled with stars, i tink its good that you kept it clear but a few start would hav been nice
the only thing that bothers me is the extraction of her hair. it could hav been better
but this s a great start from you, along the way you learned a lot no? well done ^_^

Ur wall changed completely from your first post till the last from SZ. I like the effects you made in your backgound and your the wings looks pretty neat.
The scan needs to be extracted a bit more better as small cracked lines are visible around the scan.
It was a long journey for you and you manage to come through the light at the end

Nice wallpaper! Part of the wallpaper I really like is the little particle thingies, they look cool. Aside from that, the mere fact that the ToS section is getting filled up with walls while I'm not done with mine is a sign...either I'm getting lazy or I'm too busy (let's go with the too busy part ^-^;)

I really like how you did her wings. The colours here look a little too saturated and stand out against the black background, giving it a nice shiny look. The concept for this wallpaper is a really neat one. Keep it up!
Its ok, to bad its only in 1024x768 and as someone say'd in the comments Colette is a little to bright, doesn't really fit in the background but still good job
Colette looks great in this wallpaper, I like the combination of his face and the full moon appearing at the left of the screen.
Is a combination I like it a lot, is something like the pure light of the Moon fuses with the long blond hair of Colette and dances with the sparklings in her eyes.
Tales of simphonia was a great game and a lot of people know the saga Tales thanks to this game. Here, in Spain, this is the first Tales title who appear here. Is something like a miracle XDDD
Well, continue doing things like this and follow the instructions of the people here that want to help you ^^
Nice wall and great job! I love Collete's wings! I saw someone asking for a sheena pick and i have a pretty nice one. I might submit it but i'm gonna have to fix it up a bit. Maybe that will be something to look forward too :D

The scan looks a little messy, but not really noticeable. I like the wings you added for her since it really fits with her. The background looks great with the planet and the little line effects you made between the girl and the planet is a nice touch too. Good job.
