This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Almost more Saya and Hagi, but there, in the corner, it's Solomon! XD So yeah, this image was a pain to put together, because it came from a B2 sized poster, which also means tons of folds to clean. But I just liked it that much :3 I remade the platform and fencing, and then re-cg'ed the buildings from the original scan. I also did the crossing shadows all over the place, so it would have a more glowing look :3

Waw !! Solomon, Hagi and Saya in the same wallpaper !! Very nice !! The background is done in a very good way, and the perspective chosen to wall this is nice too :) The colors used for the background are nice too !! The buildings look so cool !

I like the angle and the perspective of everything. The lighting and the re-CG is flawless...but i kinda get the feelin that the shadows should be a lil darker cos of the fairly bright lights, but I think it'll looks better the way you did it so there's no need to change it.
This is definitely a fave, no doubt about it ^_^

I just started watching this series and holy, crap its badass. Im accually watching Epi. 2 as I type this (of course its paused.) I saw the first epi. and I was like 'WAOH O_O, this is a definent MUST SEE." Anyway, :P Your wall. looks awesome, smooth as ever. o_o :) Can't complain about anything. Love it! This is practically flawless. I love the city lights and the perfectness of the characters... city lighting at night is something I'm terrified of doing... and yet this was mastered so well in this.

Without any doubt, this is just awesome. The recg is fantastic, and so is the whole wall. Love it. fav :)
