Just a simple Kino wallpaper. When I was flipping through the second visual book again and saw this picture, I decided to wall it. In keeping with the chess theme I drew up a chessboard, which took 3 tries to get at a decent perspective. Some color gradients, some texture, and some pencil-like outlining to keep with the sketchy nature of the original artwork... and that's about all there is to this wallpaper. It's calm, and unbelievably bright.

A really fantastic wallpaper, I really like the textures and the soft muted colors. The simple but beautiful looking chessboard really matches the character and the image perfect. I'm definetly going to add this to my favorites; I can't resist a good Kino's wall.

Nice wall, but the background feels a bit empty, maybe you should've added a few more chess figures. Except that it's really great, nice work :)

I saw a new Kino wall on the frontpage and I KNEW it was yours :P Well it's nice, soft pastel gradients always work well.. and it all looks so seamless. Two thumbs up :D

Wow...I love the concept, but I think the character's a little too faded... O.o Besides that, I don't really have any complaints. The simplicity in this wall is extremely effective, excellent job ;D

Creative backround. My favorite part is probably how the color goes from a pink to a pale orange. The texture used is very nice, also. Even though it may be alittle too much on the scan? Overall though, some nice work. :)

Beautiful absolutely beautiful! If you couldn't tell I just love it :) The texture is just so perfect (yes I am obsessing over the texture I do the same on my walls XD) The scan and layout just works so well, and every once In awhile I like to use a minimalistic wallpaper and this is just perfect. A big thumbs up!
