The smart blur left its inevitable tracks behind. You should've pulled off the gaussian blurr + layer overlay technique to smooth and vivid it out a bit. Kinda dull as it is.

To be honest, their stance looks very kool but i find it hard to believe they use 'paper' as their attack O_o. Well, it just another different anime series ^_^.
The background looks simple and it really doesn't fit with the scan but i understand. Everybody a bit lazy sometimes lol
