Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I'm a bit behind everyone else in my group, but I figured I'd at least post up my entry for the recent Battelgrounds contest I did before everyone forgot it we won.

I went for a very old-school grunge look on this one, sticking to the 3-color pallet of orange, yellow-orange, and yellow to give everything a psuedo-septia look; the clocks just fit the theme of the show perfectly and they work realy well as the main eye-catcher in the wall. The re-cg by Kalico is simply amazing, an I'm glad it looked so good in the finished product. Other than that, it was just a fan wall to make, and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!

Ah, the ever interesting anime Rah Xephon... Hmm... you definatly captured her very well... considering her character. =) The wall is very well balanced, she blends right in. Good job!

This one looks a great grunge wall ^_^ and the best thing is that you did not overuse the grundge stuff in it. That makes this wall look great ^^

Great job! The grungy and abstract background really blends with the other textures. The skin colors flows with the character's emotions and feelings. The clock takes you back into old centuries and has the ancient Roman numerals instead of standard numbers. Nice mixture of brown, gold, and yellow colors. It's in the right value; not too dark nor bright. Keep up the work and effort!

The grunge and contrast is great! The golden dress of the girl is what draws in your eye, but the background is just dark enough to give her an outline.

Rahxephon walls with clocks? A dime a dozen. Raxhephon walls using this particular image? There have to be at least a dozen on this website alone. And yet... I adore this wall. It's so well-done and so perfectly put together that it really stands out from all of the rest. Gorgeous, just gorgeous.

She looks so sad as she's fading away there. But it's a nice feel to the wallpaper since it seems nostalgic. Nostalgia tends to evoke some amount of sadness, and memories of the past do fade with time.

Wow! This is really lovely. It's so sad and the effects here are great. I like how you added the girl here with the time clock too. Such a beautiful concept. Though I don't know much of RahXephon so I should look into it more. ^_^;
