Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design,but we need set the rules soon as possible.
In this wallpaper I have tried to keep it simple, and a added nice soft colours for the background to allow the main middle part of the wallpaper to stand out more.
The gradient sort of shows the direction he is jumping towards and showing the light he is coming from towards the more darker area.
The stock I have chosen allows itself to show enthusiasm against the soft background.
I have added little parts of brushes and detailing parts of his hands to make it look like he is charging up for an attack. The main focus is the character and the middle part, whilst the outside allows more freedom and doesn't mess up your eyes when trying to find a shortcut icon to click on.
Simple, yet beautiful. I love the colors and the effects surrounding the character. It's really a good wall and an excellent first submission. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
The utter simplicity is what's most appealing about this...just a simple gradient in the bg, right?? the blurring of the stock around him is also a really nice touch...really nicely done. would've liked if he were larger though, to bring more emphasis to him...but still great stuff!

Nice simplicity but the bg needs a bit of things here and there to look more interesting. Either way this wall is good for desktop with or without it. So im load'en this wall to my desktop.
Nice, the image looks great. Though you probably heard it already but Im have to say it too, the background. its too plain, Nice though. the colors are actually Blended well with the image.
You put some thought into it and it shows, the gradient is perfect for what you were going for, and the power up effect works well too. Too many walls just don't work in reality, they look pretty, but render your desktop unusable. It's nice to see simplicity for a change.
The background is a little too simple, but the dude looks really cool with that charging effect around him. Man, I never seen a wall that's good and bad at the same time and get some money in it.
