Yet another of my older wallpapers.

When I decided to make a Chobits-wallpaper I was thinking of making a scenery wall with happy, bright, colors (it was very rare that I even considered it). The music I listened to when I started working on it was made by Marilyn Manson, though, and so poor little Chi ended up in an alleyway located in a dark grunge-wallpaper. The idea for this version came to me when I listened to the MM-song called Coma Black. The quote in the middle is from that song.

I wanted to make an alley, but I couldn't find a good stock photo to use. Hence, I made the alley myself. I drew the picture in the background on notebook-paper. When that was done I scanned it and started making the other parts with the drawing as a base. I created the rest of the walls in photoshop. It took a lot of filters and distorting, but I finally got it right. Last but not least, I added a street from a stock photo I found.

The result was my most experimental wallpaper yet and, in my opinion, one of the better works I've made. I worked hard on it for two days and I'm glad that I made something new instead of the ordinary (and probably crappy) scenery wall it would have been.
