Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design, but we need set the rules soon as possible.
After watching NHK and reading the manga I decided that I had to make a wallpaper.
I decided to paint some random watercolor and scan it in to use for the background along with some dirt and folder paper.
The background seems kind of chaotic/non-matching/random which is good, because this is what is going on in Satou's (main character) head. Misaki (girl pictured) is the one that has to bring order to the chaos.
This is my first wallpaper and I had lots of fun making it. I hope that you enjoy it.
*Edit*
I made a few minor changes to the wallpaper. (made the NHK ni youkoso! match better with the wallpaper)
Also I corrected the color a small bit.
I like the colors together, but it just seems like to me the background doesn't compliment her like it should. The texture in the background is a nice one though.
Interesting :3 I'm not sure about the white swirly stuff behind her or the Japanese text at top right... the text especially is sticking out for me. But the overall look is nice, I like the colors... and definitely some nice texture work for the bg x3
Great, been waiting for an NHK wall. Compositionally, I think I would've preferred Misaki bigger and off to one side, but that's just me. It'd be nice if it were available in other resolutions, too. Nice job!
I've been wanting to do a wall with this image for the longest time now. But nothing came to me, you however madea decent waller. Nice work, though Misaki's extraction is kinda iffy.
I love it! I like the textured background with the swirly brushes ehre and there! good touch with that! I also like the blendness of the scan with the background, well done there and I find the wall very simple and cute! Favorites in my book!
I don't know but there's something about the background I just love, I like the lined notebook paper texture and white scribbles. I think the white zany lines wouldn't ffeel so disconnected if they seemed to be coming from the needle she's holding. Anyway it's really a cool fun wall, great job!
Very ncie bg, i love the overall effect that it creates.
nice use of soft colours to match the scan
hope to see more work from you, keep up the good work

Arggggg I'M SUPPOSED TO MAKE THE FIRST WALLS OF NEW SERIES! well hehe i was gonna do one but you were faster obviously. I love the series already, and your wall seems nice, using manga pages and art from the anime in the same time. still it's a bit too... calm for this series i feel it this way sorry :/ it's well executed, but i like it when a wall matches the series it comes from.

What's her name again? Misuki..Misaki...something with an M.
Anyways...Nice texture and brush usage, although I'd rething the lined pattern
across her face.
