Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design,but we need set the rules soon as possible.
Before I start: I never played the videogame "Red Ninja".
I I like the main character a lot but I never played the game once.
Ok,we can start ^_^
I started with the background behind the scroll; I made it with a long brush work and I must say
that I'm really satisfied of how it turned out.
It's exactly what I wanted.
I extracted the scroll from a stock image and I merged the drawing of a field on it
to obtain a sketch effect.
Thanks to Witchking00 for the good image ;)
I added some textures on her dress and then I redrew some small (SMALL!) parts.
Time to work with the stock photos now:
I extracted the knife, the petals the money bag and the coins and I decided their position
(probably the hardest part ^_^' ).
The last part was the blood:
I used some textures to obtain a better effect.
I know it's not very realistic but that's the best that I can do...
I added some shadows and...voilà!

Oh, my good God! Yesterday i just finished a wall with the same scroll in the background... well, yours is better anyway :). Really like it, especially the knife and the splatter. Love it. Eh.. and i thought it will be original with a scroll, but now :(.
Truly amazing wallpaper! The composition is really great. Every detail is well-blended into the paper and the dagger is really awesome with the blood stained on the paper. Truly an assassin. I don't really know how you managed all of this but this is really some skills you managed to put this through.
Hope to see more of your works in the future.
The brush work, the details put in, the character.... the knife and coin, and the leather pouch.... That's a lot of detailing put into a wall... It's amazing! It looks so real and life like... @_@ WOW's the reaction!

Wow @_@ That's beautiful! I wish I was as talented as you. t's got a 3 dimensioanl flare and it all combines beautifully into such a wonderful Wall! I've never played the game either but the stunning beauty of the wal almost makes me want to play it :D

This wallpaper is amazing! I love how you made it look so realisitic the way that you did. It actually looks like a real scroll!! The blood looks freshly spilt onto the scroll and I think its cool how the money is in the corner of the imagine. This wallpaper is one of the more realistic wallpapers I've seen. I am adding it to my favorites! Great job, really!!

You don't know the game and I believe it is very hard to make such a good wall without knowing the show/game.
Althought you don't know it you captured the atmosphere in such a good way.
