Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design,but we need set the rules soon as possible.
Before I start: I never played the videogame "Red Ninja".
I I like the main character a lot but I never played the game once.
Ok,we can start ^_^
I started with the background behind the scroll; I made it with a long brush work and I must say
that I'm really satisfied of how it turned out.
It's exactly what I wanted.
I extracted the scroll from a stock image and I merged the drawing of a field on it
to obtain a sketch effect.
Thanks to Witchking00 for the good image ;)
I added some textures on her dress and then I redrew some small (SMALL!) parts.
Time to work with the stock photos now:
I extracted the knife, the petals the money bag and the coins and I decided their position
(probably the hardest part ^_^' ).
The last part was the blood:
I used some textures to obtain a better effect.
I know it's not very realistic but that's the best that I can do...
I added some shadows and...voilà!
Thanks to gat, dedwards and blu3angl for their suggestions and for their help.
PS: Don't blame me if this post is full of grammar mistakes, I'm under the alchool effect...

All those extra attributes look like they are floating, but omg what a nice colors. I would realy like to see a cleaner wallpaper with same image and colorscheme, but I'll fav+download it anyway.

Very nice! Love the burnt browns and reds, great composition and story telling. Really good merging of the artwork with the objects. Love the details and textures.
I'm really liking this ninja wall, the scroll is just too much. Then knife and the pouch are great touch-ups too, this is just an excellent wall to be sure.
Fantastic wall!! The appearence of being a table with different elements on it gives it a different touch. Some kind of realism that makes it unique. My sincerely congratulations.
