Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design, but we need set the rules soon as possible.
Well, testting CS2 out again. I was workong on this late last night and I just got finished with it this morning. 54 layers x_x
I almost died when I saw how much it was. Took me a good long time as well. I till loved how it turned out though. I made the wall bigger so people with bigger screens could use it. I have been getting some comments saying they wished the wallpaper was a better resolution. I make 1024x768 walls cause thats my resolution and I sometimes use my own wallpaper. Well I will let you enjoy the wallpaper.
I like it! Has that calm, sunset look to it, and I love the sky with the subtle blue haze! Awesome brush work done here, with the grass and the tree and I like the Silhoette of the character! Good job there! Love the concept and worth being my favorite! Goodjob!
54 Layers that a lot !
But I think that the result deserves it :)
The sky is wonderfully done with the clouds, stars and the colors are warm. The silhouettes are nicely done too !!
I even liked the font that you used for writing "The Messenger" ^.^
Keep up the good work !!

With so many layers, this wall is very beautiful and nicely detailed! The dark blue sky is the prettiest of all! The colors are so smooth and nice. The silouette goes very well with this dark wall! Fantastic job and keep it up! ^_~
OH! beautiful wallpaper..great colors, I love them! I like so much dark colors!
I love the tree and the sky...the girl silhouette seems a little blur, I guess...
but it's a really great wall ^___^ *on my favs*
Whoa, this has cliche written all over it. :O grass brush+cloud stock+black vector=sceenery. whooff. xD
Its not a bad wall even though its extremely cliche. The biggest problem with the wall is the source of light and the style of the character. The only times someone's body looks pitch black in that manner is when the only light in the whole picture is coming from behind him/her. In this case, there is no definite, bright source of light, and hence it makes no sense for the character to be like that, or any of the images in the wall for that matter. Rendering a nice light in the background and burshing the trees and grass a little would probably help immensly. :3
Okay! This wallpaper is definitely one of the best wallpapers I saw today. However: when zooming and looking at the details, I found out that the tree limbs seem to end at one point and then suddenly "continue" a few pixels lower - that shouldn't happen. This happens only if the tree is improperly cut out - by using the magic wand for example. I don't blame you - but you should improve here.
The sky and the characters look awesome. And because I really love the overall feeling of the wallpaper, I am giving this wall my "todays" favorite :D Good work! Just improve next time on the "cut out" of difficult areas - ensure that there is always a "connection" between the pixels - till the very "end" of the scan.
If you still don't know what I mean, please PM me - and I will tell you.
You did a lot of work man~but i do like the outcome of it.i love the sky..n it has such calm and harmony blue...with the trees around..it's a gud wall..

I like the concept of the wallpaper, looks really great! I love your wallpapers ^o^ The sky is really nice and goes nicely with the scan and the tree too ^.^ I like how you've kept everything black except the cloudy sky ^_____^ Nice idea! Keep it up!
Wow, it looks really nice...the blue and black match really nicely. Seems a little hard to make out the image right away tho since the area of the sky right behind it is also fairly dark
