This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
With this wallpaper I wanted to emulate the nostalgic feel of Futakoi Alternative. It took the most time to clean the image of text and other stuff. At first I was going to put images from the episode "Sa is for Sayanora" down the side, but that'd make it too clutered. I feel I could have done more, I just don't know what.
The feeling of this wallpaper is so soft and peaceful..it's really comfortable to look at. i really like the image and the way you made the image more glowy and softer..it really sets the mood =) great job
I remember this scan, great job with the cleaning up! i can understand why you said it was alot of work :)
i agree with the others who said that the image is a tad bit too bright. you applied a 'cloudy' sort of effect, i think you tried to mimic the haze of sunlight? it's a great idea (really fitting for this image), but i think it could have been done better. hope someone gives you advice on how to actually do this, i haven't a clue!
i like the way you did your words, great style. can't think of a better place to put the "sa wa sayonara no sa", but i'd think it'd look better somewhere else.
This is a very light colored wallpaper. I think it's nice to the the point that it's very simplistic. Almost creates an atmospheric feeling of nostalgia. It is indeed an very clean image like so many have already said. I don't think the text was necessary though. If you felt like including text, maybe you could have down it in a different way. It's very nice though. I like it!
Hutakoi first one was not good, but This second one is really good!characters and story setting is what I mostly like in this animation!! Thank you for this cute and pretty and beautiful wallpaper and your hardwork! Have a nice day!! Thank you for reading this! !!
