I remember this scan, great job with the cleaning up! i can understand why you said it was alot of work :)

i agree with the others who said that the image is a tad bit too bright. you applied a 'cloudy' sort of effect, i think you tried to mimic the haze of sunlight? it's a great idea (really fitting for this image), but i think it could have been done better. hope someone gives you advice on how to actually do this, i haven't a clue!

i like the way you did your words, great style. can't think of a better place to put the "sa wa sayonara no sa", but i'd think it'd look better somewhere else.
