This is a very old wallpaper made by me and Baskerville. We both started working on two seperate Lain-wallpapers, but in the end we decided to work together with one and this is the result.

The background is from the Lain-art book with some texturizing. The character was carefully extracted by Baskerville. The shadows took a lot of work from both sides to make it look like she was actually standing there. We also decided to give the background a different color to make her stand out a bit. It was also done to match the quote "Close the world, open the next". The world behind her is dying and now she's trying to move on to a new one. She reaches out her hand which tell us that she is close...

There are still some errors in this piece but we'll leave them there to remind ourselves of what to think of when we're making wallpapers in the future.
