Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wallpaper was something I worked on the last 2 days. The scan was from a BL manga "KIKI" by Homerun Ken. When I first saw it, I absolutely love it so I had to vector it and make a wallpaper out of it. The original scan was cut off so I expanded the entire background out. The trickiest part was doing the waves as well as the clouds in the sky. I changed some parts of the original image as well. I changed his hand, which original was held onto by some guy's hand sticking out. I didn't like that so I changed it to what it looks like now and added the apple. Then I changed the scarf from his clothing to make it look as though it is transforming into flying doves. I also added the vines in the wave to make it seem like the water is slow wrapping around him. I wanted everything to look surreal or at least not normal. Anyway, I hope you like the wallpaper.

my one complaint would be that the white on the waves is too white. an off-white color would allow the focus to remain on the almost "pure" white character.
I'm listening to "Will You Be Ready" by Deep Forest right now and when I came across this wallpaper I was just dumbstruck at how well it fit the chorus of the song - I'm not sure how, yet, but it does ^^
The scarf is undoubtably my favorite part of the editing you did - itz just so clever and adds a nice peaceful touch to the surreal idea you're going for. Also I really did like the curling, swirling waves ^^

Nice simple color scheme of blues. The viewing angle with the panoramic arrangement of clouds makes for a very surreal scene. Water looks a bit odd but the style is good
Oh my... this is really beautiful vector work you have done! I really love the pastel colors of blue and white that you used, and the clouds are so pretty! I've never heard of Homerun Ken, but this wall is so alluring that I couldn't help but click on it for a better look. The red apple adds a little nice twist to the pastel colors. Nice wall! :)
The perspective of this wallpaper completely 'wowed' me so awesome job with that! But the cleaness of the vector really takes it to a new level in my opnion ^^ Plesae keep up the great work! =D
What I really liked about your wallpaper was the background. The swirls in the water and circular arrangement of the clouds looks really nice. The only problem I have with it is the shading of the person; it's too light and hard to see exactly what it is. Good job overall!
