Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wallpaper was something I worked on the last 2 days. The scan was from a BL manga "KIKI" by Homerun Ken. When I first saw it, I absolutely love it so I had to vector it and make a wallpaper out of it. The original scan was cut off so I expanded the entire background out. The trickiest part was doing the waves as well as the clouds in the sky. I changed some parts of the original image as well. I changed his hand, which original was held onto by some guy's hand sticking out. I didn't like that so I changed it to what it looks like now and added the apple. Then I changed the scarf from his clothing to make it look as though it is transforming into flying doves. I also added the vines in the wave to make it seem like the water is slow wrapping around him. I wanted everything to look surreal or at least not normal. Anyway, I hope you like the wallpaper.
This is simply an amazing wallpaper!! I really wish I had this much talent but I wasnt born that way, lol. I love the way the water looks and the sky. The scarf turning into dove was a really great touch and it all blends in well with the wall! Keep up the excellent work!
Don't know the series but this wall caught my attention. It looks very clean, nice job. I agree with %tAtEkAnE, you should of added a little more focus on the character. Well whatever, I still love it.

It's shining makes it an attention drawer (and the red clour of course).
The vectors look clean and smooth, and the shapes are very eye catching. The perspective and movement are both very intreging. The light around the apple is a little on the bright side, but not unbearably so. His right leg underwater looks a little wide, too.
Overall, very nice composition.
The atmosphere or feeling is gives I find a little creepy, despite the bright colors, but that's probably a personal thing ^^;
