Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wallpaper was something I worked on the last 2 days. The scan was from a BL manga "KIKI" by Homerun Ken. When I first saw it, I absolutely love it so I had to vector it and make a wallpaper out of it. The original scan was cut off so I expanded the entire background out. The trickiest part was doing the waves as well as the clouds in the sky. I changed some parts of the original image as well. I changed his hand, which original was held onto by some guy's hand sticking out. I didn't like that so I changed it to what it looks like now and added the apple. Then I changed the scarf from his clothing to make it look as though it is transforming into flying doves. I also added the vines in the wave to make it seem like the water is slow wrapping around him. I wanted everything to look surreal or at least not normal. Anyway, I hope you like the wallpaper.

Love the perspective from his stance. Different, but very creative. You did an awesome job on the clouds and especially the waves as well. Although, I would suggest that you raise the character's skin tone to a bit darker colour to make him stand out more from the bright colours used in the BG. The work you put into this wallpaper was well worth it.
Ahhh. Its been awhile since I visited anime paper, and when I decided to come back, I happened to pass by this wallpaper, amazing work. Its on my desktop. XD
