Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wall was the product of not having AP for a day and a bit.

The scan is from teh galleries here, and i wanted to do it because Gokinjo Monogatari is an awesome series that no one reads :(. It was also me having fun with the warp/perspective/text to shape layers stuff in Photoshop CS2.

I crazily made love to Hybrid-Genesis.net brushes & Devart's Custom Shapes section for the stuff around the door. The drips were made. One by one. By hand.

This wall is for:
Blu (for being cool enough to read Gokinjo)
Ish (for being in the awesomest MSN convo i've had in years.)
Metal (for telling me the original was ugly. it was.)

Bad things happen when we have no AP guys, lol.

I like how da white bg really makes a difference...the other colours really show...i guess i really like the way the words form the path...i thought tat is quite a fresh idea. love it:)...just wondering...is there any meaning to the dripping font? (but i like the effect very much)

Lol I have no idea what this series is, but from the looks of this wall, it must be pretty interesting. XD Uwah, the crazy dripping colors and little figures in the way back and the angle. What a style, whoo.

This has got to be single coolest wallpaper I have ever seen.

I used to have an FLCL one that I loved and always had up (but have since upgrades to running a higher resolution), and this one blows it out of the water.

Being a sucker for both Gokinjo Monogatari (I came to this site for GM scans) and bright colors (pink and turquoise are my favorites), this immediately grabbed my attention. And then, the composition, the movement, the placement, OMG this wallpaper is amazing.

I love how they're heading for a door and the title of the art book is their path. The way the path is shaped, and the craziness of the door are so representative of the series. Not only is this a cool composition, but it's significance is outstanding.

Very, very good job. This will be on my monitor for a long time to come.
