Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wall was the product of not having AP for a day and a bit.

The scan is from teh galleries here, and i wanted to do it because Gokinjo Monogatari is an awesome series that no one reads :(. It was also me having fun with the warp/perspective/text to shape layers stuff in Photoshop CS2.

I crazily made love to Hybrid-Genesis.net brushes & Devart's Custom Shapes section for the stuff around the door. The drips were made. One by one. By hand.

This wall is for:
Blu (for being cool enough to read Gokinjo)
Ish (for being in the awesomest MSN convo i've had in years.)
Metal (for telling me the original was ugly. it was.)

Bad things happen when we have no AP guys, lol.

Wow, very good, the letters must have been one hell of a work for you, but they turned out great.
There aren't many Gokinjo Monogatari wallpapers around and this is just the right size to.
Good job, if you have the time for it, make more Gokinjo Monogatari wallpapers please!

The background is cute, with all the vibrant colours.
I thought it was really cool how you curved the text like that.
Thumbs up for the effort into drawing the drips...I would give up half way because it would annoy me to hell x.X You must have a lot of patience. *nods*

This one is super neat because of the mixture of cutesy (with the colors and the people) and sort of hardcore (with the violent looking shapes and drips).

I dig it.

This is wall has a really original concept that I like. :D
Makes me want to pick up the manga it's based off! ;)
Nice, bright colours, and good use of the warp effect.
I don't exactly like the custom shapes/brushes you used around the door though; they look a tad too random.
But nice drips! Wow, you did them all by hand? They must have taken an eternity! :O

This is gorgeous! I love how the text is placed as a path Mikako & Tsutomu walk on. It's also really nifty with the drippy effects. Great concept!

These characters look like they came from nana or paradise kiss. they are so skinny! and i love the worlds at their feet and the door. even though it may look a little plain its still colorful

Well.. it's definitely a world i want to enter!
only prob is I can't get it to fit properly on my laptop screen. but it's my own fault lah- why do i have a weird widescreen that stretches everything?
