Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless

Okay, so I decided to upload another one of my old wallpapers. I kind of like this one though.
I put a lot of work in this one and I think it all came out pretty nicely in the end. The extraction of the scan was actually made by using the "Magic Wand" in Photoshop. Hehe, such nostalgic memories I get by writing this. The special effects were mady by all kinds of different techniques I knew at that time. Thank god for improvement! :D
I really don't know what else to write about the wallpaper...just enjoy! :)
The outlines on the Eva are little weird looking (kinda rough around the edges so to speak), but thats if you look too close at it lol. My eyes got a little dry from staring at it. -_-
YAY a nice Unit 01 wall :3. Using dark colours makes the Eva stand out nicely, and the scan ish awesome. You can tell that you did use the magic wand tool though... but hey, this wall rocks no matter what.
I keep looking at these dark ones, and think Eva Unit 03, but you can tell by the subtle nuances that this is indeed Unit 01. A very nice job, and always welcome to see a new Eva paper. :)
Really good wallpaper. I was afraid when seeing a background with lines in it ...
but the effect & the result is good. The Eva looks great & the shadowded characters in the background are good too.

One of the greatest Eva wallpaper ever. The environment sets the mood on the right track. The idea of the wallpaper prove that most brilliant works comes from simple ideas. I love it. marvellous work

EVA.01 is usually purple but this way it's far more dark and a lust for the eye
there isn't much to comment actually
the lines around EVA's left side ( for us the right side of the wall) are to ...liny?!?...a more glowy line that would fade out would be better i think
and i don't really like the people on the background (asuka, shinji etc) but rei is done well cause she's "inside" the '1', and maybe you should have made it look like shinji was in the '0'
but that's just me ant-fucking =P

Pretty neat! ^.^ I like how you've portrayed your wall! The magic wand o___O Wow...I like the background though, I like the idea of the background ^.^ The colours all go nicely together too! Keep it up!
Love the scan of the eva, a tiny bit choppy round the edges now and again but good overall dark colours give it a nice fill, very fitting to the wallie.
