Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless

well, magically found epicenter here on ap and fell in love with her art. by a miracle i was able to obtain permission to wall this beautiful picture.
to keep in tone with epi's mood, i also listened to utada's passion, and added kanji and english lyrics from the song into the wall.
i vectored the drawing, but covered most of it up...and seriously this is the best vector work i have ever done why did i cover it up so much lol? i am going for a grimm fairy tale feeling here sorta...
i put collab not cause epi asked but because without her artistry this wall would never have happened...she is incredibly cooperative, and i loved being able to communicate with the artist i was walling!!

Its nice, the vector is ncie and thick, fitting for the atmostphere. the one thing that bothers me is the placement of things, specifically the character. IMO she should be in the center of the wall, especially since its such a small image. The wall does the drawing much justice.
OMG I LOVE THAT SONG! Awesome wall! I was simple amazed at how complex and beautiful this wall it! Love the brush work and the texturing is flawless! Like the font and the text chosen and the character you drew is outstanding! I love the Glow about her and the sublte green and blue colors of the wall. THe floral brushing is amazing! I love it! This wall is sweet! I love the grimm feel too. ^^ all the details in the background fit and are amazing. the more I look at the wall, the better it gets. You are an amazing waller.
This wall is so BEAUTIFUL! It's like some sort of magical beauty. So pretty! I love the idea of the lyrics. The vector drawing was drawn very nicely and it goes with the background very well. I agree that it's the best vector work! ^-^ And lastly, the texture used in the background is nice with the colors! Overall, wonderful work! Keep it up, annex! And remember, i am a very big fan of your walls now! ^_~
Very, VERY nice brush work. and the vector is done really well too. i think you accomplished that dark fairy tale mood you were going for. the only thing that isn't working for me is that light oval around the character's face. other than that, it looks great!

Absolutely beautiful! The contrast in the colours is both a feast for the eyes and very calming, which is something I need when I get home from a long day to check my e-mail! ^^ Fav.
