I got really bored today and couldn't concentrate, so I decided to make a wallpaper. Since I have been watching Bleach episodes this week, I looked through all the stuff I had that had to do with Bleach, and I saw this scan of Ichimaru Gin. I was playing around with it and got so focused...I lost track of time and got lectured by my parents... >.< Hope this was worth my trouble.

Looks really jagged. I love my Ichimaru though.

But what's with the skin-teeth!? Ichimaru has to have good teeth, because he smiles all the time!

I liked the texture and the shapes used for the background, and the method you used to write the title !! But why the title is "Onigiri" ??
This scan of the Beat Collection of Ichimaru Gin is my favorite of him !! However, I'm afraid that the suit color is not really fitting the rest !!
And at last !! Same remark than others!Gin must have bright and stong teeth!If he looks always smiling it is because he is advertising for toothpaste in the Soul Society o.O !! Just kidding, but you get my point ^.^

The texture in the background is nice. And this scan of Gin from the Bleach Beat Collection is nice. But his suit...it doesn't really go. I think some re-colouring will make it aite. and finally, Gin needs a whiter brighter smile, it's the same colour as his skin. Colgate The toothbrush tool from Corel Photopaint X should do the trick...or just a white fill colour, lol.

Not a bad concept and the vector isn't bad either.
I would recommend vectoring areas e.g. outer blacks, and then coloured areas, etc. because outlines usually don't look as good esp when it's a large vector. It's ok for smaller vectors or background elements, I do that too coz I'm lazy, but not for the main dude..

Another thing is the textured background. I'm never keen on backgrounds with uniform textures, I prolly wouldn't mind it so much if there were more than 1 texture. I think gray doesn't suit as background colour either because it's too low contrast with the guy's hair. I reckon shiny bright white light rays on transparent bluey background with techy sprites would work really well for this one - but that's just me and I have a strange taste.

Everything else looks fine, just those 2 things.
Still, congrats for surviving your parents' lecture and gambatte for next time!

I really liked the color of the background, it was done very well. The scan of Gin is quite awesome aswell, color of the suit was a bit diffrent from the rest of the colors but all in all i think it was really nice....goodjob.
