Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Update (2): made the background a deeper shade of purple. Goes better with the scan. Thanks anime11!

Update: had to change the title because the AP gallery didn't like it...
Also changed the font and got rid of the blocks across the wallpaper. They were too distracting and intrusive

I liked this scan, so I thought I'd do something with it. The blossom scene suited the scan (heh, what wouldn't it suit? ^_^). Fonts from www.dafont.com.

Any comments or suggestions are warmly welcome!

What pretty girl she is!I really like this artist's character design,pretty,lovely sometimes beatiful and sexy^^I also like this animation,very interesting.Nice choice and work on the bg,The background is wat caught my attention immediately. The brush work used to make the blossom is simply amazing. With so much creativity, you can make any tree you and it will still turn out great ^_^. So I think this background match the characters very much.This wall is one of the best picture which i have seen!!Thank you very much for sharing the wallpaper,I will fave it at once and change the desktop to it.Itadakimasu~

A picture of mitsumi is very good. It is the wonderful wall paper which encountered a painting very much. Thank you.

Nicely done. The background really does suit it well, the blossoms have beautiful colours and make the character stand out nicely and suits the sort of sakura blossom scene you see in alot of school anime/manga (so as she is in uniform it fits really well). Great contrast on the main character too. Thank you for sharing.

I quite like the light effects around the sword but parts of the background look like an inverted cloud filter and nothing more. The colors blend well but I just feel as if you could have done more with it since it causes the sword to appear quasi-complex and over-shadow every other feature of the wallpaper. Overall, the wallpaper is quite great, though..
