Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

First I extracted the scan, and started to vector. I had been doing that for about 5 weeks...(I didn't do it that much). Well, I was liking it, but I don't think I'm at the lvl where I can vector that well -_-, note for some people. I have not been making wallpapers for a long time, at least 9 months, which is amazing for how far I've gone on this site. Anyways. I gradiented them, and slowly and time consuming did the patterns in the back, by hand. No brushes and what not. This wallpaper came out very well. And I hope you like it too.
Well.. looking at it from the point of view of an artist.. i can say that you did a really great job, though it's black and white the arrangements of the colours complement with each other.
it looks very complicated and yet artistic.. ^_^
the emotions of the picture is hidden yet can be found through the effects of the background.. ^^
to the point of view of an anime fan, especially DNAngel.. i say it also looks nice.. but its simple.. ^_^
also, it would be much better if there is a different colours blending together, since colours are ver important in expressing the emotions of the picture.. ^_^
it would be much better if the emotions of the picture can be seen through the means of colours (aside from black and white).. ^_^
still the commonality is that it is beautiful in nature.. ^_^

Black, gray and white. That's all?? Yes, that's all required to make this wonderful wallpaper. Excellent job on the concept and wallpaper creation. The colour scheme is plain simple but complement each other very well when you put it to a good use. Very artisitc and impressive work.
Maybe a few more shades of gray would make it even better. But it still an wonderful creation. What a beauty. A nice match and also the character blend nicely with the background. Wonderful wallpaper. Recommendable and thanks for sharing such a wonderful wallpaper. Hope to see more wallpapers from you.

Uwah! This one caught my eye just when I came onto AP ^^ It's a new style for your walls cloudAC!! You'll usually use clouds and a nice background, now you're for vectoring o.O LOL the wall turned out great ;D I too think that the wall looks great without colour, I think it would of gotten way too confusing and it'll probably hurt the eyes if you used colour in the wall =P Really nice job on this one! ;)

Love the effect and silhouette's of the pictures. Nice theme and is very well done. And to make such an awesome wallpaper after a 9-month pause?! O_O Very pretty.
It's so nice. Their silhouette reminds me of hose iPod wallpapers. But I think black and white (and grey ^^') makes it look cooler. Daisuke and Dark's names in the background pages, I think that's the detail I liked the best. It's not the first thiong you notice, and at first you don't think a lot about it. But it shows their importance to both girls.
I think that the wallpaper looks very nice and it seems like you put a lot of time into making this wallpaper. Obviously black and white match very well, but I think that the wallpaper could have been much better if you were able to mix brighter colors instead of using black and white. Anyways good job.
