This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I've made this wallpaper for the chibi contest at a chibi group on mt.
I've been searching for scans on the internet and saw chibi pics of gundam seed destiny:
[ I've just pasted all the scans I used in 1 pic with paint XP] the quality was too low...so I decided to vector them.....so I've downloaded illustrator and start to make some vectors.....(first time using illu). I've done sting, auel, stellar and athrun.
I want to thank Aibuster for helping me to vector Shinn and I want to thank Mezzed too for helping me to vector Rey and Chairman Dulindal. *bows*
hmz...the background...I don't really had an idea .....so i decided to play around with abstract, it's good way to practise....I'm trying to improve my abstractness XP hehe
and...well...this is the result :D~!!! a simple abstract wallpaper :D~!

35 for the background? O_o;; Still it's a nice simple wall, fits the chibi vectorness well. Maybe if you'd positioned the abstract so the horizontals are level with their feet, giving it a sort of surface for the chibi guys to 'stand' on it'd look a better showcase, as it were, for the characters :P
Cute characters .. i hav to agree with Kalico, it doesnt really fit those cute characters .. you ll be better off stuck a impulse in front of the background..

Kinda cute to be honest. However, the characters are somewhat weird looking. The only one that really looks cute and resemble the real version is Lunamaria... I also don't know how to make of the background... Maybe you should create a playground like background to go along with the chibi characters. Quality wise, I say you've done a nice job cleaning up the scan. Not bad!
Hooray for chibi cuteness! Definitely one cute wallpaper. Nice abstract background which in my opninion kind of contradicts the simple cuteness of the image but it still works.
OMG !! Hm... Gundam Seed Destiny characters in small deform (chibi)?? Very interesting! They are so cute! I agree with some comments that said the background not fit well. I think the BG too dark for their happy face.. Why don't you make a new version with the mobile suit they control? Maybe, it will be interesting too if the mobile suits in SD too! *LOL*

Cute chibis. X3 Although when I saw the thumbnail, I didn't think that you made this wallpaper. I think you can do a much better background than this. ^_^;
