Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless
LL: (if you are still on) I need to have you making a group annoucement about the card game. Currently very few people are on it. I make the design, but we need set the rules soon as possible.
I was browsing the Random Scans the other day and saw this image and liked it. Though I tried to find out about the series, I didn't have much luck. This wall was basically an experiment to strengthen skills in extracting and blending...lots of blending. I liked the sort of burnt orange, dark red coloring. The last thing I did was to make her shirt and hair have a bit of motion in them to help add movement to her to match her hair. Comments welcome!
Uwah! This scan ^.^ I am working on a wall with this scan XD (old wall, I was still a newbie didn't know a thing about Photoshop XD) I loved the scan when I saw it too! I love the texture in the wall! And the colour scheme is really nicely done, the wall blends so nicely together!
An excellent wall. the texture is subtle and nice, and she looks approrpiately "epic" considering her stance/staring you down-ness. good typography too, if a little typical with the spaced-out times new roman font. +favs.
This particular wall interests me. I like the textures used. It is subtle yet effective. The extraction was also very well done with nice clean crisp edges. Favorite :)
Hmmmmmm...... this wallpaper is interesting.. the art is lovely and the graphics are wonderful. i reallyyy like this one, thnks! i like the colors, the red and the creepy girl with her hair in the air, it's pretty cool. :]

Mind blowing. =]
Haha, you really did a great job on the wallpaper! Even now I got interested in the series.
Your blend jobs are gorgeous, with all the warm hues of the oranges and browns, it really gave an awesome portrayal of the series. Since it is so long now, with the animation released on 2002, and this wall done more than an year ago, more information should be definitely released. It's called "The Case Files of Karasuma Kyoko ", dealing with action and the supernatural detective series.

If religion is that which binds men to one another, and irreligion that which sunders, then must I testify that I found the religion of my country in its musical genius and its irreligion in its churches and drawing rooms.
