Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless

You're a very talented wallpaper artist, all of your submissions I've seen from you have been original and going away from the "scenic-blah" style floating around layout. With that said, I enjoy this wallpaper a lot. Great work.
Its setup is perfect for a desktop. :D I like the textures, and YES! I like the text.
Not that I don't like the black frames, but I am curious on what this would look like without them.

Both of them upside down made me disoriented for a bit, but the great things you did to it make this something new, different and good. :)
this would look really great as an insert to a DVD or drama CD, or even a postcard! you made it look as if it was a picture glued to a black piece of cardboard, it's nice but i personally feel rather awkward using it as a wallpaper. maybe if you do a black-border-less version we can all see how it looks? it's not that i don't like the black portions, they're really creative and look great, but i don't get the 'wallpaper' feel.
