This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
I managed to get myself a brand new iMac a few weeks ago, and one of the first things I did was make myself this brand new wallpaper, just to test things out. I basically just wanted to do a soft and dreamy kind of feel, and the theme of floating in the night sky just came out of that. I haven't done a night-themed wall in a while (outside that Higurashi wall, but that doesn't count... does it?), and consider Saber is in her pajamas I think it matches the character image rather nicely. Enjoy the new super high 1600x1200 resolution!
Ohh, very nice and dreamy. Nice quality scan, and I like the colors that you used. I also like the fact that you didn't flood the bg with stars. There's just enough to accomplish the point. Enjoy that iMac! :D
I LOVE IT! Saber is well extracted and blended, and I simple love the purple tone of the wall! The concept is amazing, having this soft dreamy look to it! The clouds surely are beautiful, good brush work there and the night sky is simple! Lvoe that moon! Definitly worth being my FAVORITE! I love it! well done!
This is quite a beautiful wallpaper because it really displays author's ingenuity. Otherwise, the wallpaper still expresses its special characteristic such as color, prospect, and so on. Thus, I very favor this wallpaper indeed. However, I would suggest that the author could weaken the word in order to enhance the sense of
integration. But the defects do not outweigh the merits
