I managed to get myself a brand new iMac a few weeks ago, and one of the first things I did was make myself this brand new wallpaper, just to test things out. I basically just wanted to do a soft and dreamy kind of feel, and the theme of floating in the night sky just came out of that. I haven't done a night-themed wall in a while (outside that Higurashi wall, but that doesn't count... does it?), and consider Saber is in her pajamas I think it matches the character image rather nicely. Enjoy the new super high 1600x1200 resolution!

It may be just me, but I feel that cloud pictures are just a cheesy shortcut for most people. This really only looks like about 10 layers, and with your talent, I think girls in the sky and the reliance on 'that really pretty moon' seems like an afterthought. If you're going to have the character in the center, choose something less generic than a chick in a kimono.

It is true that the mood is very serene and reminiscent of night-time and dreaming, which aligns with your subject. The sheer royalty of that navy/black in the background saved you. It was a very good color choice to match with the flower print on the character, without meshing with her.

Keep wallpapering! I can't wait for more... =]

The cloudiness seems to be kinda out of place in this wall. It doesn't do much for the theme. It's just hard trying to picture Saber sitting on clouds, which is what it looks like. I dunno, it's kinda so-so to me.

Ahaha, wow, everyone likes text except me. *bites lip* I like the general idea, the floating-ness, but the text is just tacky and unneeded, imo. At least with a little shopping, it can be easily removed. Bonus points for making it in a high res. ^^

Nice combination, I would not have though of putting a girl in kimono on clouds. And yes I do know that's Saber. The moon is nicely done too, and the color of the clouds is complimenting Saber's kimono. Would like to know how you made the clouds though... GOOD WORK !

The first thing i noticed here was the quality of the scan. It is simply good! Perfect! The background is the next and I have to admit it has the perfect scene and touch for Saber and her outfit.
