Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless
Recently finished watching Blood+ 39 (Yet another great ep, if i may add) and came across this ubermega scene and just had this.. Throbbing urge to wall it!
Here's the screencap i've used -
Took well around 2-3 hours to vector and another 15 mins to come up with the B+W perspective..
Whew, well i have a whole week of break, so i guess i'll be hanging around for alittle tad longer and hopefully get back around to GFX more regularly. @_@
Hahahaha. At first when I saw the whole "Loveless" text before clicking
I thought "slfdkja what the fudge? Saya's a character in Loveless? Nawhh."
but now I see it's a blood plus wall, and loveless is just part of the text thing. x)
It's a cool wall, but you should have used similar shades of grey/black/whatever for the hair.
The light grey for the front and then the black for the back is really...strange imo. =/
Otherwise, Great job.
LOL Same here =P Since you used the text 'Loveless' I was like, are you sure you've put this in the right category and such, because Saya is in Blood+ LOL well my bad =P Lovely vector of Saya ^^ Nicely done, though the thumbnail makes it look really blurry =P Nice wallpaper ;D

Haha, that *loveless* thingy is really confusing XD
but back to wallpaper - hey, you did a great job on it!
i like the concept and how you vectored it - so, this one goes to favs! ^^
Stunning! Such feeling and emotion, you really take the cake. I can never find any decent Blood+ walls I like, (I'm very picky, you see) but this is awesome. The B&W was a good choice, it really makes it look dramatic. The flowers were a nice choice, too. +fav for sure. =)
LoL Loveless confused me too xD
the vector itself is alright... the mouth can be better. but I gotta love this screenshot itself. for being Blood+ and cool angle. Good job for not using Stroke!
My friend, you win the prize, the monotone colours go well with it, yet the colour of her lips seem to fit in.. If that makes sense. Vector owns.. YA..
The choice to use a different color on her lips was such a good idea. Love the different angle and the simple little vectored additions. The monotone color scheme really works with her expression as well. Not to be repetitive but the Loveless title does confuse one at first but it doesn't effect how great the wall turned out to be, great job~
I say its damn good! I really like the excellent vector job done here and with the added brush work its simple and clean. I like the black and white concept so its definilty worth being in my favorites! and also cause SAYA IS HOT! RAWR!! Good job! Favs!
WOW. This is one of the most striking wallpapers I've seen. Especially after seeing the original image, I am thoroughly impressed with your vision and skill! I've never seen Blood+, but now I've got to download it - your wallpaper has inspired me! ^__^
You did a remarkable job with the vectoring. The color choice is also unique, or kinda' unique considering the original screenshot.
I also admire the your style choice and the way you handled the issue. Another, less skilled waller would have used more effects, but you didn't and that's superb! Good Call!
Simplicity can be a great tool, and you have just prooved this fact!
+fav
oh and by the way... do you have a version without the grain effect? That would be soo nice! :)

What a dark old way to stay the same
As it enters through your breathing, close your eyes and feel them turn it grey...

Wait and Hope.
Lol nice title for the wallpaper, but some people might mistaken it as a wallpaper for Loveless, and not Blood+. xD Anyway nice work!
