This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Turned out more like a sanji wall than a one piece wall.
the angle was too cool for me to ignore. i *had* to wall it!
the artwork in One Piece seemed to depend so much on the lines, i really wasn't sure whether something like this was going to work or not. so did it? i think so...but well, you be the judge.
i've ommited a lot of things in order to keep it simple. the futher away the character, the less the details. but i guess i still put in too much in the case of luffy. i had to darken the sky to get the foreground to come forward. so it's no longer clear what time of day it's supposed to be. the original idea was to not use any textures and patterns, but the picture felt incomplete without them, so i added them too.
70 something layers. vectoring wasn't that hard, really. but adjusting the colours was absolute pain! colours ended up rather pale, but i guess it gives that 'dusty' sort of look, which i think is quite appropriate since they're in the desert. took a lot of time to make it desktop-friendly. every time i tried to upload it, i always felt like there was still some tweaking to be done. i went back to this wall almost 20 times, long after i'd originally considered it finished. if i were to let myself, i'd still be working on it. but you gotta stop somewhere, right?
and yeah the bottom right corner looks sort of empty. i was thinking of pasting something in that area, but you can just turn off auto-arrange on your desktop and put your recycle bin and other frequently used icons there.
sorry for the uncreative title. couldn't come up with anything good.

Wow! Your vectoring skills are very superb! I really like the way you manipulate the colors and make them fade from front to background. And yes, the angle is really too tempting to not do a wall on it! Really love the play on the colors, and definitely love your wall! Do keep more great stuff coming! +fav
Oooh >_< Lovely indeed, I love the dusty colors and how you made the guy in the foreground brighter... the perspective rocks indeed, fantastic work! :D
You're right: the angle IS freakin awesome.
I think the bottom right corner is fine: it doesn't need anything else or it might look busy...
::thumbs up:: wall on! ^_^
ANother ONe Piece! I like this one! Has the same quality like the first One Piece wall and I love the coloring! Excellent Vector work too! I dig the concept as well, I like lookin at it! Instant Favorite! WEll done!
After the forever sailing, you have done another impressive work of one piece wallpaper. I really like the grey-purple colour scheme. Seems to match the work you have done very well.
An excellent wallpaper creation. The colour scheme is excellent and the colour blending match very well. The characters have been blend nicely with the background. Excellent touch up and impressive work.
Good job and thanks for sharing. Hope to see more of your work next time.
Not a fan of the series (never did get into it...maybe its Fox's influence I unno) but I liked your wallpaper. you somehow turned the show's silliness into something serious. Great job +fav

Woow. you did a great deal here!
Insightful idea on that fade away. Although i don't like the colorless style.
Overall i can say a very good wall. :)
