This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Alright about this wall!
When i started to make my walie i used this scan:
Well ya now i can tell you all, that the sircles in the bg of the scan, were a PAIN to take out. Oh well! so, i am sorry if there are any bad edges, or something is red on the ends but Geeas who ever came up with those things for a bg? XD
Well, about this wallpaper in general i.... dunno it reminds me to much of the one i have called: Washing Out My Sin. I dunno why... Well amybe, coz of the (Planets placing, or the water, i dunno, but it just does. Well, the bg was made from scratch with my original style "Stars, Planets, Sparkels! :hmpf: Lolz! :D
The whole theam came to live when i pasted throu the web and found this tut: OVER HERE<
and i thought of making something with a water reflection, so HERE YOU ARE! X-O eheheh lol!
Well i hope some one will like this even thou it looks like my other one, but thanks anyways for any coment, and favs! They are always greatly Apprecciated! :D

Yet another great wall from you~! ^-^ And it's just as good as your others ^^ But personally I think that the scan looks a little too big in the wall or visa versa the clouds look too small for the scan XP I think that's what's stopping me from faving this wall ^^" Sorry, but this wall is nicely done! It's really nice.
I love the whole background.
BUT, the character...it looks like she's just floating there..
not as if she's sitting on the water.
So that doesn't look right to me.
If you used a different pose for the character, or a different character all in all..
it would be better.

the character looks so nice sitting there, its so freaking pretty!! i like the moons or the planets in the background also... but i think they're moons XD i also like the shooting star thingies and the regular stars :) its so nice :)

Well done! The background looks very good overall. Her right leg seems to be a litte faded. It would be better if it was a little darker like the other leg, otherwise this wallpaper is really great.
I really like the whole background.. the colours, the effects, the design, and the concept itself.. ^_^

by the way, is she sitting in the water of heaven? ^_^

I don't if its me but ever since you got promoted, your walling skills just got excelled to a new level. I love this wall. Its F.A.B.U.LO.U.S. The bg with the clouds, the moon and the water looks beautful. I'm not much particular paying much attention to the extraction of the scan itself becuase the background blinds me from that. When i see a beautiful and amazing bg, i don't worry about the little 'edgey' bits of the scan itself
