While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Marcella, if you're older that's just the reaction you can expect from your parents. They think it's okay for a xx-year-old to do such things but a older person should know better. That doesn't mean they love you less ;)

It was very clear from what I said earlier. That is concrete proof that they love her more than they wil ever love me. Hopefully they won't coz thinking of that creeps me out.
The original scan had bad quality written all over it, so I had to work on it. There was so much white stuff in the image, I needed time realizing where one of his feet was. Anyway, cleaning took a while ... actually cleaning took most of the time (better than re-painting the whole thing ... :P). The rest was fun ^^. I made some petals look all vector-like ... (Then completely removed the petals X_x) Well anyway, I played a lot with Photoshop and got this :)
I really love Blood +, it's the most interesting series I've seen in some time ^_^ and Hagi is gorgeous!
Lovely colors and a lovely picture (even if he looks really strange with his other leg out of sight). I especially liked the mixing of different shades of red as well as the texturing around him. I'll definitely download it, even if I'll have to see how long I can stand looking at the missing leg... ^^;;;;
This is very good with the awesome background! The scan also fit really well with the whole thing, though I can still see he's missing a foot behind the chair...maybe you put it like that...but I still think it looks really great! You did a wonderful job so keep up the great work! ^_^ +Fav

Ok I really love the background more than the Hagi. I like how it blends in with the white of the scan. And the petals are really nice. i like the textures and shades of red that you added to it. The missing leg kinda bothers me but it's a really great wall.

Great scan choice but something about it that makes me think it could be blended better with the background - can't put my finger on it .. Could be to do with sharpness/colour balance contrast between foreground and background elements - not sure ..
