Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless
The original scan had bad quality written all over it, so I had to work on it. There was so much white stuff in the image, I needed time realizing where one of his feet was. Anyway, cleaning took a while ... actually cleaning took most of the time (better than re-painting the whole thing ... :P). The rest was fun ^^. I made some petals look all vector-like ... (Then completely removed the petals X_x) Well anyway, I played a lot with Photoshop and got this :)
I really love Blood +, it's the most interesting series I've seen in some time ^_^ and Hagi is gorgeous!
Hmmm....Very interesting wallpaper. Indeed, you mentioned the problem with the foot location, and when reading that, I started searching for the other foot. ^_^ Anyway, I like your wall, I think you did a nice job with it - and if you said you also had fun doing it, then all the better. I am looking forward to see more of your work. And, by the way, Hagi does look great and is a great wallpaper character - leaves a big impact on the eye... ~_^

I think you did a great job with the background, it really fits well with the image. I love the flowers to, they are well placed so as not to distract from the main image.
