Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless
The original scan had bad quality written all over it, so I had to work on it. There was so much white stuff in the image, I needed time realizing where one of his feet was. Anyway, cleaning took a while ... actually cleaning took most of the time (better than re-painting the whole thing ... :P). The rest was fun ^^. I made some petals look all vector-like ... (Then completely removed the petals X_x) Well anyway, I played a lot with Photoshop and got this :)
I really love Blood +, it's the most interesting series I've seen in some time ^_^ and Hagi is gorgeous!
It's always courious to look at your fave picture or a fav character from someone else' point of view. & I like THIS look :D combination of blood-red with virgin-white is the best for Haji (for Haji from the first volume of the manga I'm reading ^_^')
I really love it! You said the original scan was of bad quality, but you seem to have made the best of it as it doesn't show at all in the finished wallpaper. The bg really fits the scan, the colours are esp. nice.
OMG.....i seriously stopped breathing when i saw this. dunno why...i don't even like haji that much...and i really don't get the half-erased half there red..."moon"? and where's his leg??!! but...i....ARGH!! see how confusing this is...impulsive reaction...ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.."TAKES MY BREATH AWAY"...but on reflection..i don't know!! hmm...i'll go with instinct this time. gr8 work..def wanna see more blood walls from u. it's one of my favourite series' too!! +fave from me

One of my freinds on Deviantart posted a screen shot of their desktop showing off this wallpaper and I begged them to tell me where they found it. I'm so glad they gave me the link. I just love it!
I hope to post some of my own wallpapers but after reading the FAQ I think they may be too lame. I ususally use a nice sharp screenshot with a pretty tiled background. Perhaps it's time to find a "Photoshop for Dummies book". Or a good tutorial :D
