ok so, this wall was for the Battlegrounds, for a challenge i really enjoyed: a B&W, city-themed, artist restricted (Murata/Abe) wall was to be produced here.

So i chose Abe (after saying to my comrades "we should include Murata in this challenge" a thousand times) and one of his SE Lain artworks. No actually, i found this hypnotizing stock photo from stock.xchng first, then i chose the scan from Lain. The stock was perfectly matching what i wanted on the city theme: a desert subway station. I liked the paradox of a place usually crowded, and now desert. this fits Lain quite well i guess.

so basically i began to grunge a bit the whole thing, texturize here and there, add this magic "old film effect" (i love it) then put inscriptions on walls that sucks a lot i know, but still i felt like it needed to be here (i'm particularly proud of my pun with the famous inscription of London's subway muahaha).

Thanks to my brothers (and sisters) in arms for helping me all along, giving me advice (yes, even "this sucks like hell" is an advice sometimes :p J/K guys) and criticisms :)

well enjoy this rather lonely -almost spooky- wall from your favorite 11342 :) yeah i know i didn't wall for long but there you are don't worry.
