Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless

So, Yuki and the flowers are vectored from the manga. I colored them so many times until I liked it... o.o
The background at first was mostly blue but that was really dull. I wanted something happy, lively and bright. (I didn't want to use brown, black and purple) This rare smiling Yuki face is cute and I wanted it to be a wall. Hope you like it, comments are welcome as always!

Lovely work! Your vector work is wonderful, so it was definitely worth the time! The colours are beautiful as well, but I would have liked to see Yuki's hair a little lighter. But the shad of grey is still wonderful. The background is a tad bit awkward if you look at it for awhile, and so does the flowers since they're so big, but they fit in so nicely in you wallpaper. Great job!
A smiling yuki is pretty unusual but i like it. the flowers (magnolia?) create a nice harmony with the yukata. the background is a bit too restless, a monochrom or twocoloured background would be better. but it could also be that the background is nice and i dislike the green and that influences me and my opinion...
