As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

well, there was no horrible death like the bleach one XD
no laser eyes or fire lol.
this one went a lot better.
as tate puts it, i do one specific thing in the collabs, and it gets all the attention...she does all the rest lol.
in this one, i did the puddle. she did the rest.
i did EVERYTHING with the puddle. the reflection, the clouds, the everything
and tate did everything else while i, as usual, gave ideas.
it would go back and forth more and i'd do more if she had a cable modem >.>
but...it takes her like...a week to upload a Photoshop file to a server xD
oh, and hitomi is vectored, not a scan
so tate deserves a real pat on the back for that one

Hitome! I didnt like the movie as much as the series.
But, the art sure was alot better on my book.
I still say you could of added more feathers XD
Or add some wings on hitome, but its all good.
I like the puddle effect, and the grungy Ground.

Absolutley, positivley beautiful. I love the way you did the water and I absolutley LOVE the floating feathers. Mostly because though everyone likes floating feathers, you deifnitley rendered them differently and more beautifully then I've seen in a while so you get a cookie!
There haven't been a lot of Escaflowne wallpapers out there, that I've seen anyways, that have impressed me. This one is probably the best use of this particular scan that I've seen. Props.
Good useage of dual-coloring to match the subject image. Not many people work with tan/brown hues, and it's a shame because they accent any other colors, in this case blue, very nicely.
Whoa! I've never seen a wallpaper that used this image and wasn't horrendously BLUE. xD The puddle of water is great, and I couldn't even tell she was vectored until I read that! That means it's good, honest. |D Awesome job!
After always seeing Hitomi up in the clouds, this is a nice refresher. I really like the look of the bricks/street and how the water stands in it. Love the logo too.
