Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
Adobe Suite: $700. Junk food eaten while designing: $57. Hours spent working on a design when you could have been working: $350 dollars. The 10 minutes for someone to tell you you suck: Priceless
Okay, let's just say that this is my first attempt to a vector wallpaper with my first 'completed' vector render in it. And YES, I'm a man, and YES sometimes I make girly stuff like this. But hey;

It took me about 2 weeks to finish it, including a lot of changing and 5 days of vacation in Germany.
Aw well, i'm very proud of this, since it's my first vector wallpaper and also, in my opinion, the best wallpaper I made so far :)

I made this wall because I liked the original scan in a way. It's this one. I've never seen even one episode of the series... Looks quite perverted... More than I like. :p Ah well, maybe I'll check it out sometime... In any case, I tried to make a wallpaper to fit the scan, and since she points her pinky so gently, my idiotic mind thought of the original idea to make a wallpaper of her pinky, a tribute. Where would we be without our pinky? No offence to pinky-less people ::}.
Oh, and I gave her that cute blush.
I hope that you like this wallpaper, because on this one, I REALLY did more than my best, I spent one and a half day to fix the vector version of that girl, and the background was made on different days of the week. Finished it today, hehehe ＞▽＜
Good luck to people who are starting their first vector wallpaper, it's a tough job but the outcome is very satisfying! ^^

The lines are slightly jaggy but overall it's a lovely wall. Don't be decieved by all the scans - it's a cute anime & manga. You see some skin but it's really not perverted. Just a lot of fan service. It's actually very sweet & somewhat romantic a series.

Your vector work is superb and I really like the abstract background! good concept and good composition, I love the simple use of solid colors, love the combination of purple, white and black and I jsut love the eye candy eheh INSTANT FAVORITE! I like this one. It's a nice combination of cute and sexy. And for some reason that pinky thing Aoi is doing just makes it that much better. I have no idea why though.
One thing is for sure I love this wallpaper! ^-^ Soo revealing but yet she is turned around and hiding it. ^-^ *Droool* I like the whole idea of the focusing on the Pinky too. You really decided on a great point to drive your eye away from the fact that she is not waring a shirt! Nice! Favorites!!
