I'm actually very satisfied with this wallpaper. I feel I achieved another gleam of experience in my quest in making wonderful graphics. This is entirely composed of photo manipulation and blending. It was a fun and exciting an experience. I feel it somewhat incomplete since I didn't get to it 4 days prior to my deadline of challenge XD. My style is to make a piece of art. I'm sorry if my walls don't seem very fitting on desktops but hey thats just my style XP.
Thank you Highknees for your critique on pointing out some of the smaller things I missed due to my exhaustion XD lol.
Wow *¬*
I love the darkness in this wall; everything blends perfectly. The lighting is really good though is a little sharp still very good.
What I love the most are the clouds !!
This wall definitly +FAV
I had this scan sitting in photoshop a whole night after I watched Submarine Blue, and nothing I came up even close to how good this is. Im usually against the use of instant stock backgrounds, and thats why i like yours, because you edited and manipulated it to such an extent. The storm and the overall madness in the background is just very fitting, especially if one has watched the anime. The extraction of the scan could use some touch ups but thats minor considering everything else. Love how you incorporated the title. If it were me I would've added some texture..but Im a slut for those. :3
Woah talk about high blending, altough i was hoping that gat would have won this sort of explains why he did not win. the setting and colour use are all splendid the scan is blended in nicely with some good shadow. love the bridge and stuff behind it. bad point i find the realism of the background wich is a bit 2 realistic in comparation with the scan but it surtainly looks good. Great job and keep it up
Awesome. You might want to compress the image a bit more, because the quality is a bit iffy on the top =/ Other than that, I think you've heard enough of my comments >_< Maybe a bit dark now, but ah well, suits the mood very well =D +fav
Uuu i like it, but the blending in the scan is not so well.
Anyways i like the clouds, and teh colors. The lighting is a very nice toch!!
Also, i like the way you did the tittle in that metal thing!! ^^ sorry, but i do like it!!
Well nice wall, i think ill add to favs!! for some reason it gives me this evil feeling!! XD maybe coz of the guy!! :P
Well thanks again, and keep it up!

I still think the char doesn't belong 100% to the background. But other than that, it's awesome. ;D I like the background more than the scan itself. xD Anyways, great job. :)
It's a nice wall but you made it way too dark. It's hard to tell exactly what's going on in the background and it's hard to make out the character. Still, it's easy to see you put effort into this wall and it paid off. Personally, I love the lightning hitting the buildings in the background. Good job.
Fantastic colors...i think that bg is to clear and it's not seems to be far behind the character but it's still a beautiful wall...i cant stop looking at it...awesome work really :) of course my fave
hope to see something more soon ^_________^
Not bad, being a stock-photo kind of wallpaper. There are a couple of mistakes and not so correct elements here and there though: one that has been pointed out (the extraction, the character feels paper-cut in some areas), the others would be:
- The brick wall is not exactly correct perspective-wise. Why? Because it has no depth at all. That would be correct if the horizon line was actually placed exactly where the brick wall ends, but the horizon line in this case is way above the wall, as the background/skyscrapers skyline indicates. For that reason, the viewer should also be able to view the top part of the brick wall even if it's by a very slight amount.
- The fires in the background are too saturated. Remember that a rule of thumb in illustrations is that objects placed in the very far tend to blend color-wise and lighting-wise with the the background colors. Your background colors in that are are dark blue and very desaturated, for that reason the fire and the smoke should reflect that to show depth and be as much as desaturated or somehow reflect the blue hue of the background.
And that's it. It's a nice idea, and you could eventually rework this and paint over it, turning it into a nice digital matte painting. :)
I was wondering when you were going to submit this. I loved it from the second I saw it. The blending of the stocks is amazing and there is so much detail.
Wow, just wow.
The background lighting is absolutely...well done. (I won't use the 'awesome' cliche ;) )
You've definitely captured the doom and gloom in this wall Chaox. Your background is really quite life like. The bridge, the way the words and the character blend is quite good as well. All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if you got a B. Grats mate.
This was definitely worth the win. and when I saw it I was like "WHOA" so yeah, that probably says all.
gotta love the lightening and destruction
faved.

I watched Blue Submarine when I was like 12, so I really can't remember it that well. I really want to watch it again!
Sieg Zeon!
Let's go see a movie, oohohohoo.
Really good job, I like the textures and the backround keeps the feeling of the scan (+fave)
