This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I'm actually very satisfied with this wallpaper. I feel I achieved another gleam of experience in my quest in making wonderful graphics. This is entirely composed of photo manipulation and blending. It was a fun and exciting an experience. I feel it somewhat incomplete since I didn't get to it 4 days prior to my deadline of challenge XD. My style is to make a piece of art. I'm sorry if my walls don't seem very fitting on desktops but hey thats just my style XP.

Incredible wallpaper, the character looks great and the background blend perfectly and make and apropiate atmosphere. The clouds and lightings and the ruined city looks amazing too.

What i like most about this wallpaper is the message it is trying to convey...
the destruction of the city with the message, "wars are ugly affairs," is a powerful message that people today should really think about. you were able to convey a powerful message with this thought provoking wallpaper...
i've never seen this anime, but i plan to watch it very soon!

Great wallpaper, the background is superb. The character doesn't feel right... and for some reason, I don't think it even looks like who it is supposed to look like... but that may be problem with the scan itself, and not a fault of your own. (Or I'm just used to seeing him barechested throughout the entire show, could be that too.)
Or than that, it's a fantastic wall. Keep up the great work
Very nice, but it seems a bit too dark. The character blends in too well. You can barely tell that they're even there! Maybe make them stand out a bit more by litening them or making them contrast a bit with the background.
Oh woowww... the first time i laid my eyes on this i was like "cr@p... that is so awesome!" i love the theme... it's like... some chaotic aura going on but thats why i like it so much... not a lot of people make walls that relate to war from what i've seen. it's really unique.
Beautiful work. Everything looks so real. I love the background. I think his legs could look a bit clearer. It seems like just a dark shadow instead of his actual legs. The lightning, fires, and whole town looks amazing! The water looks a little like it's frozen ice. Very pretty, especially the clouds. Great job on it. I can feel the tension and madness from this wallpaper :P
