Vectored from this pic I found on the internet. Still, my "realistic" background making skills are not quite up to par...so that goes out the window.

The vectoring is really good, and so is the background. The layout, composition, and designing work are undoubtedly excellent. What I think stands out most though, and really makes this something exceptional, is that magnificent job you've done with the colors. It looks so vibrant and alive, yet not anywhere near being overly bright; also very finely applied, soft and light where it should be, and well defined where it looks the best. The whole thing looks just perfect. Thanks very much and keep up the lovely work, k? :)

seriously, a great job with this one, i must tell you! ^^
First the things that should have been different:
1. I miss the contours of Misato - but I guess it is a matter of taste. I like vectors which contain the contours of the characters as well.
2. I think the background doesn't have any type of perspective whatsoever - so the foreground and background don't seem to go well with each other.
However (good things):
1. the coloring is awesome!
2. the quality of both fore- and background is simply excellent!
3. the idea of the wallpaper - and the title - are both quite interesting.
4. the waller (you :D) seems to have thought not only about how the wallpaper should look and what it should contain - but also about what he (the waller) wants to express with it. In contrast to many other walls which are mostly all about look - this one is even good enough to just look at it and think of the context, because the context comes straight to my mind when I look at it due to the title and background.
Overall I think this wallpaper is simply awesome and deserves my fav. Even though I prefer scenery walls, this wallpaper is also quite complex (the background is - in my opinion at least) and therefore great. Plus it has something it wants to express (like a message).
