This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.
While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.
Err I don't make wallpapers anymore, this one would be what I call a glorified collage. Besides the starfield and the light source, the sun thing. I used planet I made ages ago (using texture and layer effects). The reason I made this wall is because this scan was really cool. Well it's a space gundam anyways so this is the only background that fits. I'd like to thank my good buddy jason for saving me 5 hours making the second planet by borrowing me one of his. If you check out jason9811.animepapers you will find his awesome work of space and celestrial background. I guess I have a great source to learn but just so lazy.
Well when i feel like it i guess i can add some colorful nebulas, space debris, black holes etc. Anyone interested to wall this scan let me kno. I dont feel like letting AP have it so.
I really like Gundam seed & seed destiny series but i didn't like the wing one ...
Anyway, i've never seen this one : 0083
It's a good work, the gundam under the ship is good.
Planets are well done too.
Good job.
Hmmm the wallpaper seems just a little too light for a space sort of background. Try burning the whole wallpaper XD It'll make it look darker in a sort of good way ;P And maybe a little motion blur on the light source. But pretty cool tech wallpaper :D
My dendrobrium...sob sob...
no, its not a ship...its an weapon carrier...like the meteor unit you know from gundam seed...infact...they just copied the idea from gp03d and 'revamp' it into meteor...gundam seed/gundam seed desetiny->gundam copy/gundam copy more
ai...ne ways...hope you will make some nice wallpaper next time...nice try~

There is a very good balance of detail and vectoring here. I think the wallpaper works well with the background, particularly because of the amount of detail in the wallpaper's foreground gundam.
A bit too bright in space i reckon. A darker overall look would have made a it top class wall. I like the effects on the image and good use of textures
*Two Thumbs up*
Shadows is a bit weird since there is a bright sun in the corner, but other than that it captured GPO3 in space well. Its hard to determine if it looks better in full view or a closer zoom with the mobile suit as the center of it all, great decision to do it the way you did though.

why can't AP has Doujinshi section like other sites? =(
still waiting for someone to wall the avatar...
The UC Gundams are so much better than SEED.
Now, onto the wallpaper. Sure, space should be darker, but it looks great. You even have reflections of the GP03 on the Dendrobium unit, it's awesome!
Good job!
