After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!
Society has decreed one must be 18 to even have the compitance to decide such things. At least most have that i know of. now if we consider that fact, there is only one conclusion
It was kind of a bad picture to choose since it originated on 2ch. Anyhow if it makes you feel better you are in the clear, because she is in her 20s at this point. Also Rabbit the you are wrong I'm right approach is ineffective, but it is all you have.
My entry for the third challenge for the Crimson Orchestra in The Battleground.
For this battle versus The Foundation the rules were the following:
- we had to wall a category listed in the scan gallery here at AP
with zero walls;
- we had to add a border.
I chose to wall a scan of Shinobi.
Well, I wanted to wall Shinobi BEFORE I saw this wonderful scan of
Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles.
Unfortunately, due to some hosting problems, some images were lost.

My concept was to make a wall with an old paint style,
so I focused all my work to that goal.
It was hard to extract the girl and merge her with the background
but I must admitt that I'm quite proud of the final result.
The background I used comes from a stock photo, I added some
effects to obtain the paint look and voilà ;)
The border is rather symple too but I have lost the count of how many times
I redid it.
Yes, I don't like borders very much.
I think that no one in the Crimson Orchestra likes to make borders, right XD ?
Then was the textures time;
I don't think that I've ever used so many textures in a wall.
Really, I used tons of them...

The extraction is great (wow, it must have been really hard acording to the original scan) and really good done.
The idea of the wall itself is very nice. It really looks like an old painting but without losing it's high quality.
The background is awesome done and merge perfect with the scan.

The atmosphere of the wall is a bit dark but I like your dark walls a lot.

This is probably one of the most elaborately worked wallpapers I've seen in a long time. It works well together with the foreground elements, too. I like how the background has a lot of detail to it but it doesn't draw too much attention away from Shinobi. It also doesn't overelaborate, so there is a good balance of detail and simplicity. I also like how the monotone color scheme works out here. Definetly well done. +fav
Good job. It's an undeniable fact that you've become really accustomed and skilled at manipulating and blending scans with stock photos. The old-wall-paint/drawing look you gave to this wallpaper has been pulled off perfectly and I really have no real complaints, except maybe that I wouldn't mind if a version of this without borders would actually exist ;)
But in any case, it is indeed worth of a favourite at the very least. :)
Man, there's just something about this wallpaper. It seems to have a certain flow. The colors blend perfectly, even if they are simple. But they match perfectly with the scan.(+fave)

Eeeeeeeeee is what I said first time I saw this wall. Well not realy, but still I was ammazed by it. It looks like a single painting on canvas, can't tell anything appart for the background, very well blended, nice job!
What great atmosphere - love the inkiness of the graphics in the background. Oh, and they're pretty, and they're perfect with the scan, and the color is quite lovely. Good balance of tones, too.
What an original and complex wallpaper. I like the skin tones and the colors you've chosen. The designs are very unique and very different from the others I've seen. It looks a lot like the famous paintings in the museum. Great use of texture and nice concepts. Keep the work and effort up!
