Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!
IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED I HAVE 1600X1200 AND 1280X1024 RESOLUTIONS ON MY WEBSITE ZOMGLOLKTHXBYE
I haven't done a non-vector wall in over two months! I've finally caught up with watching Mushishi and felt like this series deserved another wall (or five). Again with the odd perspectives, this time looking up from beneath Ginko's boat as it drifts by. The multitude of fish and mushi were also interesting. Since the manga artwork is very much in watercolor style I basically went to clean up the image (removing text), smudge painted everything to smooth out the scan, and overlaid both the scan again (to counter the common issue of smudge paintings being blurry) as well as some light texture to bring out the watercolor styling. Make it all blue and add a title, and it's a fitting wall to end off summer, I think.
Nice perspective of the character for this wallpaper. I especially like how the font is placed, along with the water looking effect to it. Big fish, little fish, turtles and a sea monster. Nice job on cleaning this to make it look watercolored and a calm tone of blue. A nice and clean job.
This is a very nice wallpaper ; erm.I have to watch this anime very soon, characters are beautiful as your wallpaper. So I love you background, maybe it looks a bit simple but for me that's good :)
Good job on this wallpaper, keep it up :)

OMG THIS IS AMAZING! Not only is it a Mushishi wallpaper, its an incredibly original and fresh one. The perspective and textures are amazing. You'd be doing the world a favor to continue with such great design.
Wow this is absolutely beautiful - love the sense of underwater movements and fish dynamics etc.
Without seeing the original scan I can't tell how much of this is your own original concept or if it's just a touched up scan, but regardless I love underwater shots and I'll fav this one.

I've said it before and i will say it again. I love the way the softness of the colours and the texture adds in a soothing underwater effect. I love the blurred image which really fits the blurred vision underwater. It's simply a beautiful piece of work. Awesome wallpaper as always tama.

Sorry, I couldn't really write a decent comment for this one. I can only say that I adore this wallpaper like all your previous Mushishi ones.
