This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Lol Really? Wow You always seem to Surprise me tide-kun. Well hey im going to get some food and think about the nickname i'll make for you *Huggles* Take care Buddy Bai Bai =]
Well, lots of things happened today, I finished the new harry potter and on top of the sorrow it had caused me due to the traumatic ending, I also broke up with my girlfriend. So I thought maybe making a wall would cheer me up, and indeed it...kind of did.

thanks to ShiNN for the advices, I've made all the necessary changes suggested bellow ^_^
Wow, this wallpaper is very moody, it's dark and makes me in a certain feeling of shadow. it's a bit too dark for every mood i have but when i want something easy on my eyes and dark, somewhat emotional, this will be one of my choices. great job!
I don't who is she when i see this pic but in your series in tenjho tenge ...
IT's so cool and beauty very much. i like that girl in this action it's make me cold and love she ^^
thank for share good job ><b
Very dark and grunge like. Really matches well with the concept. She looks very lonely or sad. Keep up the good work and continue to make great wallpapers! Definitely one of my favorites!
First I'm sorry to hear what happened to you & your girl friend. Cheer up. There is always a better around you. But do you think you'd be able to make it better not being in that kind of mood? Anyway it is a nice wallpaper with the dark thme & a bit of evil taste i assume. Thanks! :P
Wow !! That's awesome !! This dark atmosphere is just so exciting !!
Wonderful background !! The sky is so wonderful with the moon, the stars, and the cloudy look !!
The forest gives a mysterious feeling to the scene. The finger prints in the sword or katana are a nice idea, just like the blood on the characters hand...
Wonderful job again !
First of all I've seen this source around, and I've only seen it done in a way I liked once. That said, I've seen it done well twice after chancing upon this. The first thing my eye scanned was of course the face, then the hand, and then the background. These are the major elements of the piece, and each serves one another well with such an intense darkness surrounding the figure.
I know it's inherent in the source, but the smiling face adds a lot considering that it's only that and her hand that are clearly visible. The rest, including the sword, are so blurred by darkness that it's almost a taunt to the viewer... an element of danger was created (intentionally or not). The aphelion reference and the stars makes sense after a quick lookup, and I suppose the decay and the intense darkness works too.
Wow... how have i never seen this wall before. the color is beautiful. i love the black/white with small traces of red and tan (flesh color?). anyway, really nice.
Don't think there is much I can say that has not been said already. I have to say the wings on her back looks extra tho ... dunno, just a personal thought.
