Thank you for your constructive comments and for your last Death Note wallpaper since after seeing it I decided to make a DN wallpaper too.. xDD
I was sitting in the airplane heading to China when I had that idea with the claws.
And it turned out to be quite as I imagined.
Time: 6-7 hours
Music: DBSK, KH, Sailor Moon (Yeah >__<)

the words "death note" repeated 100x kind of annoy me in this wall but it's very cool nontheless. the torn paper look works well here and in general a very cool wall. :) will prolly come back and fave (i'm still mulling it over right now, lo)

the wall is awesome, like shining said, the repetition of death note is a bit annoying, but everything else pretty much makes up for it. I like the messsy grungy feel to it.

I liked the font you used and the disposition of the text (even if it is repeated too many times!) I liked the kanji on the characters :)

I love the idea of the claws. It makes this wall have more of a uniqueness to it. And i love how you put the scan behind the claws. And it makes it seem like they're hiding behind a cloth or something. xD The text looks as if it's dripping blood. Awesome! LOL.

Though, the claw marks would look better if they didn't have that shadow around the edges, making this wall look flater would probably make it seem more realistic as a clawed piece of...something :p. Oh, now I remember what I want to say, the shadow around the claw marks makes it look like torn out parts of paper instead, so if that's an undesired effect it better be changed ;)
Another thing that should be noted: The font should not cut into the claw marks, that would make it look weird, considering that you seem to only want to surround the claw marks.
+fav, but I think you have done better work than this. (not that I'm the person to say this, just my 5 cents)

but hey, the idea is done great and it works pretty much. the weird part is just...that you used simplyfied chinese for the title and using traditional chinese as for the texture =O. maybe showing more about the note or the notebook and other stuff would make it look better than only deathnote repeation X_X"....
