This is kind of a weird wall for me in that i actually had a concept going into the wall and i stuck with it straight through to the end. I've wanted to wall Mushishi for a long time now, but i've never felt like i was up to it. I saw Tama's latest Mushishi wall though and set right to work :)
Scan is from AP galleries, far too lazy to link. Vectored it out for reasons of quality and that i hated the colour of ginko's pants. The mushi were fun to make - i took screens of mushi from the first 2 episodes or so and just recreated.
The vines were NOT fun to make - but they turned out so lovely. I did the rough sketch of the platform in my sketchbook, scanned in & vectored. I had a ton of problems making it look like i wanted to, thanks for everyone on MSN for listening to me rant about this wall :P
If only the character wasn't that small... It's already pretty small at 1600x1200 res, you can imagine people using lower resolutions (1280x) would most likely miss all those nice little details you included there. :\

I liked the colors of it and its composition, however, I would have prefered to see the featured character bigger in this vast wallpaper :)
I liked the glow that seems like fog around the character !! Really nice :)

I like the simplicity of this wallpaper. Not so crazy that you can't tell what the crap is happening, just simple. But it's also very well put together. GOOD JOB! n_n (+fave)

This is an incredibly simple wallpaper! It looks wonderful though. I really like the simplicity of this wall. The tone is nice too. The vector is very impressive and the vines you did are beautiful too.

This is a damn good wall. It looks soo simple and clean yet took many hours of hard labour to do. Very good wall, just love the grey and green mix. Vector work is excellent as always and the wall is just not too complex. Good for any desktop and is an instant favorite! Well done!

Even though it's got so much empty space, it still somehow works. i don't know how you did it, but it looks good!
