This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.
Lol Really? Wow You always seem to Surprise me tide-kun. Well hey im going to get some food and think about the nickname i'll make for you *Huggles* Take care Buddy Bai Bai =]
Hmmm... what can I say? I love Episode 3 of Honey & Clover II featuring Nomiya and Yamada so I decided to wall it. The characters were vectored from a screenshot, then the rest were stock photos, brushes and textures mixed to create a much improved scenario than shown in the anime. I actually refrained myself from using grunge brushes to maintain the peacefulness of the scenario. The thumbnail looks boring, but please don't judge it from the thumbnail. The two words at the bottom left of the wallpaper is "How?" and "Why?", the two questions Yamada was asking as she looked at Nomiya from behind.
The..clouds..are..amazing. the brushing is just beautiful. *speechless*
this wall is indeed very beautiful, no doubt about that. :)
the textures complement the wall really well, and the vector is just perfect.
it's so dramatic and just lovely. no questions asked about this wall. period. :D
beautiful work on the wall BlueAngel17! keep on improving!
You to love this screenshot ;) Well vector now xD The vector is really nice, and you can almost just feel the sea air blowing onto your face! ^^ It's a really effective wallpaper for your desktop too :) Love the texture!! Kuuu~! >.<b
Honey and Clover... *_* It looks nice, I love the colors you picked... I'd be curious to see a textless version. Still, it's great to see a nice wall for a great underwalled series x)
Wow!! I love the textures...!!
Beautiful wallpaper!! I love the colors, the design, the simplicity and the content...

This wall acheives an interesting feel through the use of stocks, brushing and vectoring. i kind of wish the vector had an outline though, so as to anchor it. lovely use of texture, for the most part.
Another very lovely wallpaper. It looks quite a lot like a painting in many places actually, and I love that slightly discordant feel you gave the title, I wouldn't have thought it would, but it looks just perfect there. I think a little more work on the clouds might be in order, the rippling effect looks fairly nice, but I don't know, it just seems to me that if you added a little more of a brushed feel to a few parts of them it would look more complete. I guess it's just that the rippling effects there look a bit too uniform to match the rest of the wallpaper completely. For the feel of it, I've got to say, like with that other wallpaper you made (The Old Portrait of Death), you've got great style and you really know how to give your wallpaper a lot of subtlety and nuance in feeling and design. There's just so much depth in both of them; that, and I think you're also very good at coming up with titles for them.
I love it! The wallpaper feels like an oil painting, which fits so well for a series like Honey and Clover! The clouds probably are the most spectacular part! Good job!
thanks for sharing!
Wow, it's simply beautiful! ^^
looks so nice...peaceful and dreamy. i think you did a great job with it!
this is definitely an excellent wallpaper and it goes to favs a.s.a.p.!
I love this wallpaper! You were right, the thumbnail doesn't do any good for the wall. When I take a good look at this wall, it looks like a painting and that makes it intertesting. You did a great job at vectoring the characters from a screenshot. The bg is very romantic and sad too. I like the sand and the clouds. The hiragana text you use is interesting too. Great job, my fav!
The thumbnail isn't boring it really catches the eye. i must say full viewed it looks much better but even from the thumbnail the reactions must be positive. i love this wall great job on the scenary and the characters. it all blends super well together , going to my favs instantly. good job!
Really nice wallpaper, {bwuahahah Nomiya/Yamada OTP!}, I have no complaints except, the second hiragana you have that I assume is supposed to be "naze ka" but you have "nase ka" You're just missing the two little dash thingers that would distinguish the "ze" from the "se". (Unless my eyes deceive me.)
But really thank you so much for making a Nomiya/Yamada wallpaper. ;_; I have been dying to see one. :3 You made my wish come true yaayy
